Redirect an old address
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeRedirect /old-prices/ to https://example.com/pricing/ permanently (301). Check there isn’t one already, then read it back.
Changes your site. Standard asks you first in wp-admin; Trusted does it directly.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant lists your redirects to check for one with the same source.
- It creates one plain 301 rule through Redirection’s REST API and reads it back: source, destination, type and whether it’s on.
Try also
Section titled “Try also”- “Make it temporary (302) and point it to /spring/ instead.”
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Needs the free Redirection plugin, set up once in its own screen.
- Plain addresses only; regular-expression rules aren’t tested.
