Connect ChatGPT
The steps in wp-admin are the same as for Claude.
In wp-admin
Section titled “In wp-admin”- Open AI Puffer › Settings, go to the Connections tab, and under Website management select Manage my website. If it asks you to verify your email first, see step 3 of the full guide.
- Choose Connect an assistant, then ChatGPT.
- Choose a Safety level (Trusted is the default; choose Standard to approve changes first) and the user to Act as.
- Agree to the terms and select Connect assistant.
In ChatGPT
Section titled “In ChatGPT”- A tab opens, Add AI Puffer to ChatGPT, with the address to use. In ChatGPT, open Plugins. If AI Puffer is already there, open its settings and choose Reconnect; otherwise add a new remote MCP plugin named AI Puffer with that address as the server address. Choose OAuth; ChatGPT opens AI Puffer in your browser: choose Allow. Do it in the same browser, within 10 minutes.
- Back in wp-admin, select Check next to ChatGPT.
If ChatGPT asks for a server address, use https://mcp.aipuffer.org/mcp. ChatGPT may ask you to add it as a custom app in developer mode; what your ChatGPT plan allows is up to ChatGPT.
Say hello
Section titled “Say hello”What can you do on my site?
Other assistants
Section titled “Other assistants”Other apps that connect to a remote MCP server with OAuth should work the same way. We haven’t tested them yet. Choose Other MCP assistant in wp-admin.
