Tools
You never call these yourself: your assistant chooses them. This page is for when you want to know exactly what it can do on your site. At Read only, only the tools that read are offered.
As of 22 October 2026: 32 tools.

Abilities on your site
Section titled “Abilities on your site”Besides these tools, your assistant finds more on your site with find_abilities and uses them with read_ability or run_ability. Your plugins add some, and AI Puffer adds its own, for example:
- Lighthouse audits Beta (Free and Premium):
ai-puffer/audit-page, throughread_ability. One public page and device, four lab scores and bounded findings. Ten provider attempts/account/UTC day, one at a time; shared capacity limits also apply. Failed or blocked audits use no website actions. Availability and plan access may change. Recipe - Stock photo search:
ai-puffer/search-stock-images. Recipe - SVG logos and icons:
ai-puffer/sanitize-svgandai-puffer/import-svg. Recipe - Reading PDFs, on paid plans:
ai-puffer/read-pdf. Recipe - PHP draft-file outlines, on paid plans:
ai-puffer/theme-file-outline. Names, line numbers and a file hash; no code execution. Limits - Saved post revisions:
ai-puffer/list-post-revisions,ai-puffer/get-post-revisionandai-puffer/restore-post-revision. Restore the selected title, body and excerpt while preserving publication status and current metadata. Recipe - Simple-product sales:
ai-puffer/get-product-saleandai-puffer/set-product-sale. Inspect, schedule or cancel using the website timezone. Recipe - Core-block text, links and draft copies use the existing Gutenberg abilities. Generic plain-content updates still refuse to overwrite block markup. Internal links · Separate draft copy
- Content types, block layouts and theme drafts: see WordPress and themes.
- From 2.5.19, native page workflows cover Beaver Builder, GenerateBlocks, SiteOrigin, Pagelayer and SeedProd. GeneratePress adds per-page layout settings. SeedProd requires Save in its editor to compile visitor HTML.
- GeoDirectory uses its registered listing routes, with safe formatted descriptions in 2.5.19. WP Rocket supports non-secret cache inspection and native page-cache clearing.
From AI Puffer 2.5.18, Yoast SEO lookup errors distinguish missing input, a post that cannot be found and denied permissions. Give your assistant the post’s URL or ID. If access is denied, check the connected WordPress user’s permissions; changing the safety level does not grant that user more access.
Website actions
Section titled “Website actions”Each successful operation on your site uses one website action from your monthly allowance, such as reading a post or changing a price. One request can take several: reading a post, creating a draft and publishing it are three. Account and status calls are free, and so are starting, checking and stopping a background job; there, each command that succeeds on a site uses one action. See plans and usage.
The manual upload helpers request_upload and check_upload are free status checks. They do not upload an image or poll for one. Use the returned ticket with the exact saved filename or attachment ID; ambiguous matches need your choice. Older sites keep the upload-page and media-search fallback.
