Back up your site first
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeBefore we change anything, make a full backup of this site with Duplicator. Wait until it’s finished and tell me if it’s usable, whether files and the database are both in it, and whether anything was left out.
Changes your site. Standard asks you first in wp-admin; Trusted does it directly.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant starts a full backup with
duplicator/create-backup. Starting isn’t finishing: Duplicator builds it in the background. - It checks with
duplicator/get-backup-statusuntil the backup is complete and usable. - It tells you whether it’s a full backup and whether anything was excluded, then carries on with your change.
Try also
Section titled “Try also”- “A database-only backup is enough.” (Quicker, but files aren’t in it.)
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Every status check counts as one website action.
- Backups are stored by Duplicator on your own server.
