Tools in WordPress screens

Some AI Puffer tools live inside WordPress’s own screens. Turn each on or off under Settings › Tools › In WordPress.

Improve many posts, pages or products at once.

  1. On a list such as Posts, tick the items.
  2. Select Assistant next to Add New.
  3. Choose the model, and under What to update switch on Title, Content, Meta description, Focus keyword, Excerpt, Tags or Optimize URL. The pencil changes each one’s instructions; they can use the original, such as {original_title}, and for products the price, SKU and stock.
  4. Select Start. Each item is updated in turn; keep the window open until it says it’s complete.

Each row also has an Assistant menu with Generate title, Generate excerpt, Generate meta description and Generate tags. It shows five suggestions; pick one to apply it.

Select text in the Classic or Block editor and choose Assistant in the toolbar: Rewrite, Expand, Fix grammar and spelling, Summarize, Create outline (H2/H3), Generate FAQs or Simplify tone. The result replaces the selection, or goes before or after it.

Customize menu lets administrators add their own actions (up to 20), with {selected_text} in the prompt.

Tick posts, pages or products and select Add to knowledge base to send them to a knowledge store. Turn on the Index Status column under Screen Options to see what’s already in.

The editor and list tools use your default provider and model from Settings › AI.
