Add an SVG logo or icon
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeCreate a simple blue leaf icon as an SVG, using vector shapes, and add it to my media library as “Blue leaf icon”. Tell me if anything was removed, and give me its address.
Creates a draft. Standard and Trusted do this on their own; Read only can’t.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant cleans the SVG with
ai-puffer/sanitize-svg. Shapes, groups and gradients stay; scripts, links, embedded images, styles and animation are removed. - It adds exactly the cleaned file with
ai-puffer/import-svg, then checks the saved file matches it. - It tells you what was removed and gives you the new image’s address.
Try also
Section titled “Try also”- “Clean this SVG I pasted, but don’t add it. Tell me what you removed.”
- “Add the logo from https://example.com/logo.svg.”
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Up to 20 KB, simple shapes and gradients only. Complex illustrations, text that needs fonts, and animation won’t come through as they were.
- Your site still doesn’t accept SVG uploads in general. Only this cleaned file is let in.
- At Standard you see what will be saved and approve it first. The connected user needs permission to upload files.
