Knowledge, web search and more

The gear next to the model sets Temperature, Max tokens, Top P, Frequency penalty, Presence penalty and, for models that think, Reasoning.

  • Knowledge base: answers draw on your own sources (built-in, OpenAI, Google, Pinecone, Qdrant or Chroma). Set how many pieces it reads and how close a match must be. See the chatbot’s knowledge page for what each store is.
  • Web Search: current information from the web, with sources shown under the answer. Available with OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, xAI and Google models; not with AI Puffer Cloud models.

Turn a long form into steps. Each layout row becomes a step with its own title and description; a step can appear only when an earlier answer matches. Choose how much of the progress header to show.

Chain forms: after an answer, the next form opens below it, with the answer or earlier fields filled in. Routes send visitors to different next forms depending on the answer. A chain stops after ten forms.

Send each submission to Slack, HubSpot, Notion, Pipedrive, Zapier, Make or n8n. Connect them under Settings › Connections › Apps.

Rename the buttons (Generate, Stop, Download, Save, Copy) and, for multi-step forms, the step navigation.

The gear next to the list, AI Forms settings, has:

  • Limits: how much guests, logged-in users or each role may use, when it starts over, and the message and buttons people see when they reach it. 0 turns a group off.
  • Custom CSS: styles for forms with the Custom theme.
  • Frontend Models: which models visitors may choose from, when a form lets them.

Settings › Security applies here too: blocked words, blocked IP addresses and moderation.

The menu next to the search box exports all forms, or the ones you select, as a JSON file, and imports them on another site. Imported forms are added as new ones; nothing is overwritten.
