Saved workflows

A saved workflow is a checklist you write once and run whenever you want, by asking. For example, a store check you do every Friday, or the review you give every draft before it goes live.

Available on all plans.

  1. Do the task once in chat, or describe it, then say: “Save this as my Weekly store check.” Your assistant saves the instructions on your site.
  2. Next time, in any connected assistant, say: “Run my Weekly store check.”
  3. Your assistant reads the saved instructions and follows them with your site’s data as it is now, then reports back.

You don’t need to know the tool names. To see or tidy your workflows, ask: “Show my saved workflows”, “Change my Weekly store check to flag stock below 5”, or “Delete my Editorial review workflow.”

  • In your own WordPress database, as private records. Not in AI Puffer Cloud, and not in your assistant.
  • They belong to the WordPress user your assistant acts as, on that site. Connect ChatGPT and Claude as the same user to share them; another user or another site has its own list.
  • Only the instructions are saved, never a copy of your products, posts or earlier results. Each run uses what’s on your site now.
  • They stay when you disconnect an assistant, and they’re in your normal site backups.
  • A workflow is instructions, not a program. It can only ask for what your assistant could already do: your safety level, approvals and the WordPress user’s permissions all still apply.
  • Nothing runs on a schedule. “Weekly” is just a name; it runs when you ask.
  • Saving and deleting work at Standard and Trusted. A Read only connection can list and run them, but can’t save or delete. The WordPress user needs to be able to edit posts.
  • Deleting a workflow removes its instructions only, never the content it mentions.
  • If a workflow was changed elsewhere since your assistant read it, a change is refused, so nothing is overwritten.
  • Up to 50 workflows per user and site. Names up to 100 characters, instructions up to 12 KB.
  • Don’t put passwords, API keys or other secrets in a workflow.

Listing, reading, saving and deleting a workflow each use one website action. Running one uses the actions of the steps it takes, as if you had typed them. Workflows don’t use AI credits. See plans and usage.
