Recheck after an email fix
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeI have changed my email setup. Recheck the 20 most recent WP Mail SMTP error events and compare their IDs and timestamps with the events we reviewed earlier in this chat. Separate new failures from old ones. If you do not have the earlier baseline or the time of my change, ask for it. Explain what the comparison shows and what still needs verification. Do not change settings, clear logs or send email, and do not claim that an error-free sample proves inbox delivery.

What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant uses the earlier inspected event IDs and times as a baseline, or asks you for them.
- It reads the current bounded error sample and identifies new records separately from historical failures.
- It reports the comparison and any remaining delivery uncertainty.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Requires WP Mail SMTP 4.9 or later, WordPress 6.9 or later with the Abilities API, and an AI Puffer website connection. Uses the connected WordPress user’s WP Mail SMTP permissions. Debug-event inspection works with WP Mail SMTP Lite and Pro, on all AI Puffer plans.
- These recipes only inspect recorded debug events. They do not change SMTP settings, clear logs, send a test email or prove inbox delivery. Full email logs and sending statistics require WP Mail SMTP Pro and are outside this tested Lite workflow.
- This is a fresh inspection when you ask, not a background monitor.
- Changing mail settings does not remove historical failures. A successful test send or a confirmed inbox receipt is separate evidence.
