Install and activate a plugin
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeFind Classic Editor in the official WordPress.org plugin directory. Install and activate it, then verify its version and active status. Don’t change any other plugins.
Changes content or settings on your site. See the recipe below for approval requirements. Read only cannot make changes.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant finds the plugin in the WordPress.org directory and checks whether it is already installed.
- It installs and activates the plugin if your WordPress permissions and hosting settings allow it.
- It checks the installed version and confirms the plugin is active.

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- This recipe installs plugins from WordPress.org. It does not upload premium ZIP files or purchase licenses.
- Your connected user needs permission to install and activate plugins. Some hosts restrict file changes.
- The plugin may have its own setup steps after activation.
