Delete an outdated page
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeFind the page “Old spring offer”. Show me its title and address, then wait for my confirmation before moving it to the Trash. Don’t permanently delete it or change other pages.
Changes content or settings on your site. See the recipe below for approval requirements. Read only cannot make changes.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant finds the matching page and shows its title and address.
- After your confirmation, it moves that exact page to the WordPress Trash.
- It reports the result. The page is no longer published.

Section titled “Try also”- “Move the post ‘Outdated announcement’ to the Trash after showing me which one you found.”
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- If more than one page matches, select the exact page before confirming.
- Links to the deleted page may stop working. Ask for a redirect separately if needed.
- Your connected user needs permission to delete the page. At Standard, the change also requires approval in WordPress.
- This recipe does not empty the Trash. WordPress may permanently delete trashed items later, according to your site’s settings.
