Check WooCommerce scheduled tasks and order storage

WooCommerce3 minutesReads onlyTested 20 Oct 2026
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeCheck my WooCommerce scheduled actions and order storage. How many scheduled actions are pending or failed, are the pending actions overdue or scheduled for later, and is high-performance order storage (HPOS) on? Explain any limits on the data you can read and what these checks do and do not tell us about admin slowness. Don’t change anything.

Reads only. Nothing on your site changes, at any safety level.

  1. Your assistant checks the available scheduled-action records for pending or failed tasks.
  2. It checks whether pending tasks are overdue or scheduled for later, and reports any limits on the records it can read.
  3. It reads the HPOS setting and explains what these findings can tell you about your store admin.
  • “Which pending tasks are overdue?”
  • “Explain what my HPOS setting means.”
  • These checks are a starting point. They do not establish the cause of a slow admin or measure autoloaded settings. Future scheduled tasks are not an overdue backlog.
  • Scheduled-action counts may come from a bounded snapshot with protected records excluded. Your assistant should say when a complete count is unavailable.
  • Nothing is cleaned up or enabled. Your connected WordPress user must be an administrator.
