Activate a theme draft with a backup
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeActivate the theme draft I just previewed, with a backup, and tell me which theme is active now.
Changes content or settings on your site. See the recipe below for approval requirements. Read only cannot make changes.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant checks that you previewed this exact version of the draft.
- It saves a private backup of your current theme’s files and design settings.
- It activates the draft as a new theme. Your original theme stays installed.

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- You must preview the current draft version before activating it.
- The backup includes the previous theme’s files and design settings, not the whole site.
