What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant requests WordPress’s object-cache flush.
- Redis Object Cache clears the cache using its configured flush method.
- At Standard, open the approval link in WordPress, review the request and approve it. Your assistant checks the original result.
Try also
Section titled “Try also”- “Clear the object cache after my settings change.”
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Your host must first confirm this site uses a dedicated Redis database or an appropriately scoped flush configuration. By default, Redis Object Cache clears the entire selected Redis database, including other prefixes; a unique prefix alone does not isolate a flush.
- Tested with Redis Object Cache 3.0.0 on separate, dedicated Redis instances, from ChatGPT and Claude.
- This does not clear WP Fastest Cache’s cached HTML, a CDN cache or the browser cache. WordPress posts and saved settings are retained.
- The cache refills as the site is used. A successful flush does not measure how much faster the site is.
