Check your site’s 404 errors
Paste into ChatGPT or ClaudeShow up to ten URLs in my Rank Math 404 log, highest hit count first. Show each URL, recorded hits and last access time, and check whether 404 Monitor is enabled.
Reads only. Nothing on your site changes, at any safety level.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant checks the 404 Monitor status and reads its retained log entries.
- It lists the returned URLs by recorded hit count, with their last access times. Larger logs can be read in pages.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Requires Rank Math with native abilities and AI Puffer website management. Complete or skip Rank Math’s registration step first. Tested with Rank Math 1.0.280 and AI Puffer 2.5.15 in ChatGPT and Claude.
- Requires the connected WordPress user to have Rank Math’s 404 Monitor permission. This is a read-only workflow at every safety level.
- Enable 404 Monitor in Rank Math’s dashboard to collect new requests. Reading the log does not enable it.
- This is a log of requests that returned 404, not a site-wide broken-link scan. An empty log does not prove that every link works.
- Results cover retained entries; limits, cleared logs and monitoring mode affect the history. Hits count requests, which can include bots, rather than unique visitors. Simple mode combines hits for a URL; advanced mode can keep separate entries for repeated requests.
- Last access is the stored WordPress site time. The returned timestamp does not include a timezone offset.
