Add or edit a Fluent Forms field

What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant reads the full saved field configuration.
- It previews the change while keeping existing field names and validation rules.
- It saves the change and checks the fields, required rules and saved answers.

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Tested with simple, single-page forms. Multi-step forms must be edited in Fluent Forms.
- Fluent Forms replaces the field list when editing. Existing field keys must stay the same so saved answers remain linked.
- The Phone number example uses a plain text field, without phone-format validation.
- At Standard, previews and saves require separate WordPress approvals.
