What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Your assistant uses the supported Breeze purge command.
- At Standard, review and approve the request in WordPress. Your assistant checks that original operation’s result.
- Breeze clears its local cache through its own purge handler.
Try also
Section titled “Try also”- “Clear Breeze after my latest page update.”
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Tested with Breeze 2.6.3, local disk caching, Varnish auto-purge off and no Cloudflare connection, from ChatGPT and Claude.
- Breeze’s purge handler can also clear minified files and the WordPress object cache, and invoke configured external purge integrations. Varnish and Cloudflare purges have not been verified.
- If an external object cache such as Redis is installed, first have your host confirm its flush is isolated to the intended site or database.
- A successful purge does not measure page speed. The cache fills again as people visit the site.
