AI Puffer Cloud and credits
AI Puffer Cloud runs the AI inside your site (chatbot, writer, forms, images, voice and embeddings) on models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others, with no API key. You pay in credits. Cloud also holds your account for website management.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”When you first activate AI Puffer and choose a chatbot, forms or content, the setup asks How should AI Puffer connect to AI? Pick the free AI Puffer Cloud option and follow the steps below. If you chose only website management, the setup creates the account under Connect your website instead. Later, open Settings › AI, choose AI Puffer Cloud, then:
- Enter your email, if asked.
- Agree to the terms, and choose whether you want product news.
- Select Connect for free.
- Confirm your email from the message you receive. Free monthly credits need a verified email; credits you buy work without it.
Credits
Section titled “Credits”- Free: 25 credits every month for verified accounts.
- Included with plan: Pro 1,000, Pro Plus 3,000 and Pro Max 10,000 credits a month. Connect Cloud with the same account you bought the plan with.
- Purchased: credits you buy never expire.
Free credits are used first, then included ones, then purchased ones. A credit isn’t one message: longer answers, more context and images cost more.
See and buy
Section titled “See and buy”The AI credits card on AI Puffer › Dashboard shows your balance and where it comes from: free, included and purchased, plus credits held by requests still running. The i next to the title shows when your free credits renew. The AI requests activity view lists every request with what it cost.
Buy credits on that card opens a checkout for the email of your Cloud account. Come back and select Refresh.
When credits run low, AI Puffer tells you on its screens; when they run out, tools using Cloud stop answering until your free credits renew or you buy more.
Cloud models
Section titled “Cloud models”Choose a Cloud model in any tool’s model picker. In the Cloud panel, Default model and Make default set what new items use. Cloud models don’t do web search, and look at images only where the model supports it. Live voice needs your own OpenAI key.
Pause, deactivate or uninstall
Section titled “Pause, deactivate or uninstall”To stop assistant access temporarily, use Pause in Manage my website. Deactivating AI Puffer also stops requests to the site. Uninstalling attempts to revoke the site’s Cloud connection; after reinstalling, reconnect and authorize your assistants again.
When an account has no active connected sites, routine archive maintenance becomes dormant with a 30-day return window. If another site on that account stays active, the account remains active. The window is not a credit expiry date or a promise to delete recovery records: your account, purchased credits and records needed to resolve unfinished requests are preserved. Reconnecting or resuming a site reactivates routine service.
Disconnect
Section titled “Disconnect”Disconnect AI Puffer Cloud is in the Cloud panel (Settings › AI › AI Puffer Cloud) and in the account menu at the top of the Dashboard (your email). It stops tools that use Cloud and removes your assistants’ access to the site. Your balance stays with your account; connect again to use it.
A Temporarily unavailable message can mean your account identity could not be checked. Wait and refresh; it does not mean you need to verify your email again or disconnect.
If the panel says the connection can no longer be used, after moving the site or changing its security keys, follow its button to start again.
