AI Puffer operates this website at https://aipower.org. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit the site, use our demo pages, contact us, download the plugin, or access account and support features.
AI Puffer Cloud is operated by aipower.org. For questions about Cloud processing or to make a privacy request, contact us through our contact page.
This policy also explains our processing of information through AI Puffer Cloud at puffercloud.dev when you connect a WordPress site or use a Cloud model. A website using the AI Puffer plugin may also collect and retain information under its own privacy policy; its operator controls that website’s settings and local records.
Information we collect
We may collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, support messages, account details, license or purchase information, and content submitted through contact forms, demos, or support tools.
We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URLs, cookies, security logs, and server logs needed to operate, protect, and improve the website.
AI demos and user content
Some pages may let you test AI features, including chat, forms, content generation, or image generation. Inputs you submit to those demos may be processed by third-party AI providers or infrastructure services used to provide the response. Do not submit passwords, payment card details, private keys, health information, or other sensitive information into demo fields.
AI Puffer Cloud
Connection and account information
When a site connects to Cloud, we process its site address and Freemius installation, product and user identifiers to verify the connection and associate it with the correct Cloud account. We also process account and email-verification information needed to establish eligibility for free credits. If the site is not registered with Freemius, connecting registers it using the administrator’s name, email address and site address, with optional usage tracking off. The separate optional marketing choice is not required to use Cloud.
We maintain connection records, account and site identifiers, authorization records, and the version and time of the Cloud agreement accepted on connection. Freemius account information may also be retrieved for billing and customer support.
Cloud connection diagnostics
After you accept the Cloud connection terms and click Connect, the plugin sends a limited diagnostic report to AI Puffer Cloud. A report can be sent even if the attempt fails before your account or site is registered. We use these reports to troubleshoot connection problems and improve the reliability of Cloud setup. They contain the connection stage and result, selected error codes, response status and timing, technical response indicators, AI Puffer, WordPress and PHP versions, and a random support reference.
These reports do not contain your name, email address, site address, passwords, API keys, account secrets, prompts, uploaded files or generated content. Account registration and AI request processing use the separate information described in this policy. Diagnostic reporting does not run on ordinary plugin page loads or collect general activity across your WordPress site, installed plugins or themes.
Cloud diagnostic reports are retained for 30 days and removed through scheduled cleanup. Your WordPress site keeps at most the ten most recent local reports; reports older than 30 days are removed on the next connection attempt, and plugin uninstall removes that local history. These retention rules apply to connection reports, rather than account, billing or service-provider logs.
The reporting endpoint processes the request’s IP address to limit abusive submissions and stores a protected fingerprint for that purpose, rather than the raw address in the diagnostic report. Hosting and security providers may separately process IP addresses and server logs as described above. Diagnostic reporting does not subscribe you to marketing emails; the optional marketing choice remains separate.
Information sent for AI processing
Using a Cloud model sends the data needed for that operation to AI Puffer Cloud and the AI services used to provide the selected model. Depending on the feature and site configuration, this includes:
- Prompts, instructions, conversation history and other context supplied with a request.
- Website content, form inputs, document text and knowledge-base excerpts used for generation, search or embeddings.
- Uploaded images or audio and the text or media returned by generation, editing, speech or transcription features.
This information may include personal information about the site operator or its visitors. The site operator decides what to submit and is responsible for providing appropriate notices and obtaining any permissions required for that use. Choosing another provider with your own API credentials sends its AI requests through that provider’s integration rather than through AI Puffer Cloud.
Usage, billing and security records
We process request identifiers, selected models, request times and outcomes, token or media usage, credit reservations and deductions, allowances, balances and records needed to investigate failed or disputed requests. We also process purchase and refund references, payment amounts and currency, Freemius billing identifiers and matching information used to apply purchases to the correct account. Payments are handled through Freemius checkout.
We use these records to deliver requests, calculate credits, reconcile payments and usage, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, protect service availability and understand use of the service. Technical processing can include IP addresses, security events and server logs. Some abuse controls store a protected fingerprint instead of the original address or value.
Service providers
Cloud uses service providers for hosting, database storage, security, AI request processing, account verification and payments. These include Vercel, Neon, Cloudflare, OpenRouter and Freemius, as applicable, together with the AI model providers used for the selected model. Not every request is sent to every provider. The model and feature selected determine which AI services process its content.
These services may process data in countries other than your own. Content retention and model-training practices depend on the applicable service, model and contractual settings. Our Cloud billing database records usage and accounting metadata rather than full conversation transcripts, uploaded media or generated content; that does not describe every AI service’s processing or the records kept on your WordPress site.
Retention, disconnecting and deletion requests
Cloud account, connection, usage and financial records remain after disconnection where needed to maintain shared balances, provide account access and support, reconcile usage and payments, prevent abuse, handle disputes and meet legal recordkeeping obligations. Some temporary authentication and operational records are removed through scheduled cleanup. Backups and service-provider logs can have separate retention periods.
Disconnecting removes that plugin installation’s Cloud connection but does not delete the Cloud account or its records. Deleting the plugin, conversations or request logs on your WordPress site does not delete Cloud billing records or change the Cloud balance. Conversely, a Cloud deletion request does not remove copies retained on a separately operated WordPress site.
To request access, correction, account closure or erasure, use our contact page. We will verify the request and assess the information that can be deleted and any records that must be retained for applicable legal, accounting, dispute or security purposes. If you are a visitor to a website using AI Puffer, contact that website’s operator about its local records and use of your information.
