All plans can connect AI Puffer Cloud. Pro Plus includes 3,000 AI credits monthly and Pro Max includes 10,000, shared across licensed sites. Credits renew monthly even with annual billing; unused monthly credits do not roll over. Pro lifetime includes no monthly plan credits.
Eligible verified Cloud accounts can also receive 25 free credits monthly. Optional one-time top-ups are available on every plan; purchased credits never expire. Use your own API key to pay your provider directly. Credit usage varies by model and request, so one credit is not always one message, article, or image.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Pro, Pro Plus, and Pro Max?
All three unlock the same Pro plugin features. Pro includes no monthly paid-plan credits. Pro Plus includes 3,000 AI credits monthly and Pro Max includes 10,000.
Do I need an API key?
No API key is needed for AI Puffer Cloud. Connect from onboarding or Settings with your Freemius account and verify the email if requested. You can also use your own provider keys on every plan. Purchasing a plugin license does not connect Cloud automatically.
Does annual billing give all credits upfront?
No. Plus and Max credits renew monthly, including with annual billing. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of each period. Review renewal dates in Usage.
Are credits per site?
No. A 2-site Plus license includes 3,000 monthly credits total, and a 2-site Max license includes 10,000 total. Connect both sites to the same Cloud account to share the balance.
Does lifetime include monthly AI credits?
Lifetime is available for Pro only and includes no monthly paid-plan AI credits. You can use your own API keys, eligible free credits, or optional Cloud top-ups.
Can I buy extra credits?
Yes. Open AI Puffer > Usage in WordPress and click Buy credits. Top-ups are available on all plans, never expire, and are shared across sites on the same Cloud account. A top-up does not upgrade your plugin license.
How many messages or articles can I create?
It depends on the models and request size. Text uses token pricing with a model-specific minimum. Images, audio, and embeddings have their own rates. An article with SEO and images can use several requests.
Are AI credits the credits I sell to visitors?
No. Cloud credits pay for hosted requests on your account. Visitor credits and WooCommerce packages are balances you manage for customers on your WordPress site.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Review available changes from AI Puffer > Pricing or the Freemius customer portal. Canceling auto-renewal stops future charges; included credits can continue renewing during already paid coverage and stop when that coverage ends. Check the checkout total and effective date before changing a plan.
What payment methods are accepted?
Freemius checkout supports major credit cards and PayPal. Available options and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
Do you offer refunds?
If you report an issue within 7 days that makes the plugin unusable and we cannot resolve it, we will consider a refund under our policy. Refunded purchases can reverse their associated AI credits. Contact support before requesting a refund.
Do I get updates and support?
All three paid plans include priority support and plugin updates under the terms of your active license. Pro, Plus, and Max use the same premium plugin download.
