Before you start
Sales and order reads follow your WordPress user’s store permissions. To create discounts, enable AI write access under Downloads → Tools → AI. Reading works without that setting.
Limits
- Reports show Easy Digital Downloads’ recorded sales and net earnings, not payment-processor payouts. Pending or abandoned orders are separate from completed sales.
- Customer email visibility follows the store’s sensitive-data permission.
- Ask for an active discount if customers should be able to use it immediately. New discounts are inactive unless requested otherwise.
- Discount dates use the store’s timezone. Saved timestamps are returned in UTC; your assistant should convert them back to local time when verifying the expiry.
- Creating a discount at Standard requires WordPress approval. An existing code is shown without creating a duplicate; changing it is a separate request.
- Order notes and the other unmarked abilities have not been tested by us yet.
Store settings
With AI Puffer 2.5.16 or later, change your store details and currency. Enable the same native AI write access and use a WordPress user with permission to manage store settings. Currency changes do not convert existing prices or orders. At Standard, changes require WordPress approval.
