Before you start

Use a version of All in One SEO that registers native WordPress abilities. These recipes were tested with Free 5.0.4; they do not require Pro. Your connected WordPress user needs All in One SEO permissions and access to the post.

What the results mean

  • The SEO title is separate from the WordPress post title. Updating SEO fields leaves the post’s content, blocks and publication status unchanged.
  • An empty custom title or description can still use All in One SEO’s templates. Finding empty saved fields does not prove that a live page lacks metadata.
  • The site analysis abilities read saved scan results. They do not run a new scan. A site with no saved scan can return zero counters; those are not a measured score or proof that everything passed.
  • Search Console information requires its own connection in All in One SEO. Sitemap settings do not guarantee that search engines index every URL.
  • With AI Puffer 2.5.16 or later, change default title and description templates, including the separator. A static homepage keeps its own per-post SEO fields. Robots-rule changes and the other unmarked abilities have not been tested by us yet.
