Uploaded Files and Images: When you upload files, images, or documents via file picker, camera, or photo library, they are stored both on your device and on OpenAI servers for processing. Unless manually deleted by the user, these files and images remain stored for up to 7 days. If the user deletes them manually, they are immediately deleted from both the device and OpenAI servers.

Chat Data: Input provided through chat is stored both on your device and on OpenAI servers. Unless manually deleted by the user, these chat messages remain stored for up to 7 days. If the user deletes them manually, they are immediately deleted from both the device and OpenAI servers.

Processing Data: All uploaded content, including files, images, and chat inputs, is securely processed through OpenAI’s services but is not stored permanently on OpenAI servers beyond the specified retention period or if manually deleted.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App’s functionalities.
- Process and analyze uploaded files, images, and chat inputs.
- Improve the App and monitor usage trends.
Data Processing and Storage
File and Image Processing
- Processing via AWS and OpenAI: Uploaded files, images, and chat inputs are sent securely to AWS services, which forward the data to OpenAI’s API for analysis.
- Data Retention Policy: Files and images sent to OpenAI are processed temporarily and deleted immediately after processing is complete.
Chat Data Storage and Retention
- Chat messages are stored on your device and securely processed via OpenAI’s API to provide responses.
- If not manually deleted by the user, chat messages are automatically deleted from both your device and OpenAI’s servers after 7 days.
Third-Party Services
We may employ third-party services to facilitate the App (“Service Providers”):
- AWS: Used for serverless computing to process user requests.
- OpenAI: Provides AI model processing for file, image, and chat analysis.
- StoreKit (Apple): Used for handling in-app purchases and transactions.
These third parties access your data only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
- Encryption: All data transmitted between the App, AWS, and OpenAI is encrypted using HTTPS.
- Temporary Processing: Files and images are processed temporarily and are not stored on our servers.
- No Personal Data Collection: Since we do not collect personal data, risks associated with personal data breaches are minimized.
However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
