These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “user”) and AI Power (“we,” “us,” “our”) governing your use of the Melo – AI Song Generator (“Melo” or the “App”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Melo. By using Melo, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete registration information, including your name, email, and password. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login details.
4. Subscriptions
The App may offer subscription plans with additional features. Subscription fees and details will be clearly disclosed within the App prior to subscribing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your iOS account settings.
5. User Content (Prompts)
You may submit text-based prompts (“User Content”) to generate songs. You retain ownership of your User Content but grant AI Power a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your prompts solely to provide the Service.
6. Outputs (Generated Songs)
Generated songs (“Outputs”) created through Melo belong exclusively to you. AI Power assigns to you all right, title, and interest in your Outputs, and you may use them freely without owing payment or further permission to AI Power. For additional information, see FAQ below.
7. Third-Party Services (Sonauto API)
Melo utilizes the Sonauto API as a third-party provider to generate songs based on your prompts. By using Melo, you acknowledge that prompts are shared with Sonauto for song generation. We recommend reviewing Sonauto’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
8. Storage of Generated Content
Generated songs are stored securely on Google Cloud Storage:
- Free Plan Users: Songs stored for 7 days.
- Premium Plan Users: Songs stored for 1 year.
After this period, the generated songs will be permanently deleted. It is your responsibility to download and maintain your generated content.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to:
- Using automated tools to access the App.
- Reverse-engineering or attempting to extract source code from the App.
- Violating applicable laws or intellectual property rights.
- Posting offensive or harmful User Content.
Violation may result in termination of your access.
10. Intellectual Property
AI Power owns all rights, title, and interest in the App and related technologies, excluding your User Content and Outputs. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App without explicit permission from AI Power.
11. Modifications
AI Power reserves the right to modify these Terms. You will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
12. Termination
AI Power may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or harmful use of the App.
13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Melo is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. AI Power makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App or its Outputs.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AI Power shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of Melo.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AI Power is registered.
